I’ve been told I am a good photographer by many people

I’ve been told I am a good photographer by many people.  When you look at the difference between my photos and others, it’s not that I am naturally any better than anyone else with a camera.  The difference is in repetition.  Practice, practice, practice.

Bruce Lee once said that he was not afraid of the guy who knew 10,000 moves.  He was afraid of the guy who did one move 10,000 times.  I think there is a lot of truth to that.

Professionel wedding photographer

Sure, I have a high end camera.  Sure I have some cool lenses and, yes, I have a few filters that I can do cool stuff with.  Yet the cool gear is not what makes or breaks a photographer.  It’s about paying attention.

Here’s an example.  Just yesterday, I went to Home Depot with my wife.  While she was shopping for hardware, I took my camera with me.  While she was shopping, I spent an hour or so snapping away at flowers.

While others who have cameras worth many thousands of dollars

While others who have cameras worth many thousands of dollars leave their cameras at home, I take mine with me… and I see art in everything around me.  By taking a lot of pictures, I also have the opportunity to use editing tools to edit my pictures, to learn how to work with filters, saturation, and color balancing.  All these are vital skills that lead to becoming a truly good photographer.
